J-1 HR/Admin Paid Internship

Job Description:
• Maintain compliance with federal/state legislation through maintaining required documentation
• Maintain personnel files and employee records through established processes and checklists
• Coordinate distribution of the company Handbook to new employees
• Help administer all HR related functions as directed (i.e. Open enrollment, termination process etc.)
• Communicate with our brokers/employee benefits vendors as directed
• Organize and stock all HR/benefits related materials for distribution
• Coordinate/maintain new hire paperwork:
• Prepare and manage all related contracts
• Payroll documents (W-2/I-9/direct deposit)
• Benefits Administration (send mailouts)
• Collect all Corp to Corp requirements from new vendors
• Provide support for related issues to consultants/employees on assignment for our company
• Collect timesheets/invoices weekly
• Generate payroll related reports as directed
• Reconcile hours and report
• Provide administrative support to key personnel
• Assist in HR audit and other designated projects as directed
• Distribute internal mail and prepare outgoing mail
• Provide administrative support for payroll related functions as required
The position requires 30 - 40 hours/week and is for 18 months.
Salary: $10/hour
