End date: 4.9.2010 -30.09.2010 As a team member you will be responsible far working on a team that consists of 2-4 people. In this position you will be responsible for cleaning private homes. You will mop floors, clean bathrooms, toilets and showers. You will vacuum floors, mop floors, dust, clean kitchens, lake out garbage. This is hard, tiring work. You will be working with cleaning chemicals and often in dusty, dirty environments. Discomforts like coughing, watering eyes, back pain, muscle sureness, and headaches are common when adjusting to this kind of work. Helpful measures include drinking lots of water, using eye drops, and taking mild pain relievers are recommended. |

$7.25 per hour, If you complete your program with this employer, show up to work on time everyday, maintain good work habits and follow the guidelines of the program, you will receive a $1,00 per hour bonus for every hour that you worked over the course of your program. If you quit without notice or if you are fired or have poor work habits you will lose this bonus opportunity. Skills Required: You must be able to speak English. You must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of lime. You must be able In lift a minimum of 30 pounds. You must be friendly, you must be neat and presentable. You will be interacting with the customers as well as your fellow coworkers which may be from other countries as well as Americans. You must be able to work in a fast paced environment, you must be able to bend, squat and move around easily. You must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time. You must be able to work independently and also be willing to work as part of a team. You will have to clean under furniture which may require being an your hands and knees from time to time. Meal discounts: None Uniforms: Provided the cost of the uniforms is $1.00 per week which will be deducted from your paycheck. Dress code: When you arrive to work your uniform must be neat and clean. Nearest Intl Airport: JFK New York international Airport 180 miles. Bus Information: www.greyhound.com Train Information: www.amtrak.com Housing Information: Based on the time of your arrival and the housing that is available you should live within 5 miles of your employees office location. You will be required to find own housing, however If you email employer before you arrive she can help you arrange your housing. Housing cost is approximately $100,00 per week, will depend on which housing location you choose. Deposit is up to $250.00, depending on which housing location you choose. Family oriented work environment. Grocery Stores, and shopping are accessible. There is some night life and outdoor activities to participate in. |
